Growth Plan
Expanding Capacity to Meet Increasing Demand
Record drilling activity over several successive years in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin is pushing many oilfield waste management facilities towards full utilization. Continued high rates of drilling and increased investment in producing wells are forecast, while the volume of produced water and other waste streams continues to grow. These solid industry fundamentals create the opportunity for Deepwell to pursue expansion opportunities to satisfy growing producer demand for its waste management services.
Deepwell plans to increase its capacity by upgrading existing facilities to improve throughput, by opening new facilities and by making carefully selected acquisitions. Our goal is to match each facility's capabilities to the area's oil and gas production, including the type and amount of oilfield waste produced. Our growth will also be driven by client service and a focused sales and marketing program.
Each of our new locations will be carefully selected based on a range of geographical, geological, strategic and environmental criteria. Scalability of new facilities will be an important consideration. Our goal is to proportionately expand disposal capacity, without interrupting service, to accommodate a greater volume of waste as a particular area's production ramps up.
An important part of responsible growth is being a good neighbour. Our plant managers live in the same communities in which Deepwell operates. A personal stake in protecting non-commercial property and adjacent agricultural landowners strengthens our plant managers' meticulous
approach to facility safety.
